Pride is subtle. It rarely announces itself. It shows up as defensiveness, an inability to receive feedback, or always needing to be right. The antidote isn't self-deprecation — it's humility, which is simply seeing yourself accurately.

Reflect

In what area of your life are you most defensive? That's often where pride is hiding.

Prayer

God, give me genuine humility. Reveal where pride is operating in me before it causes damage. Amen.
