The world offers temporary peace based on circumstances — everything must be perfect for calm to exist. But Jesus offers peace that exists in the midst of chaos, that surpasses understanding, that guards our hearts even when life is falling apart. This peace comes from knowing God is in control.

What would it look like today to receive the peace Jesus offers, rather than waiting for circumstances to change?

Prayer

Jesus, I receive Your peace. Calm my troubled heart and quiet my anxious mind. Let Your peace guard me today and always. Amen.
