Peacemakers bear a family resemblance to the God who reconciled the world to Himself through Christ. When you work toward reconciliation — in your family, your friendships, your community — you look like your Father. Peacemaking is a family trait of the children of God.

Father, make me a peacemaker — someone who bears Your family resemblance by working toward reconciliation wherever I go. Amen.
