Abraham didn't perform righteousness — he believed, and it was counted. This is the seed of the gospel in the very first book of the Bible. Faith credited as righteousness — not earned, not achieved, not accumulated. Believed.

What does your righteousness rest on — what you've done, or what you believe about what God has done?

Prayer

Lord, I believe. And I trust that belief is credited as righteousness — not because of my performance, but because of Your promise. Amen.
