Jesus was indignant when His disciples pushed the children away. The children weren't a distraction — they were the lesson. The kingdom belongs to those who come like a child: trusting, dependent, unimpressed with their own resume.

In what ways has adulthood made you less childlike in your faith — more skeptical, more self-reliant, less simply trusting?

Jesus, restore my childlike faith. Let me come to You simply, trusting, without the complexity I've added. Amen.
