The phrase "called according to His purpose" anchors the promise. Your life is not random — you have been called according to a design. That calling means the things that happen to you are being worked by a purposeful God toward a purposeful end.

How does knowing you are called according to His purpose change how you interpret the difficult things in your life?

Prayer

Lord, I am called according to Your purpose. Nothing that happens to me is outside that calling. Work all of it toward Your end. Amen.
