Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.Colossians 3:1

You have been raised. Past tense — it already happened spiritually when you came to faith. Now live from that position. Set your heart — deliberately aim your affections — on what is above. Your citizenship has changed. Live like it.

Reflect

What are your affections most set on today — the things above or the things around you? How could you reorient?

Prayer

Lord, I set my heart on things above. Recalibrate my affections toward what is eternal and away from what is temporary. Amen.
