Slave vs. child vs. heir — three completely different relationships. A slave does what they're told and earns what they get. A child belongs. An heir inherits. You are all three in reverse: you were a slave, you became a child, and you are now an heir of everything God owns.

Do you relate to God as a slave (earning), a child (belonging), or an heir (inheriting)? What would moving toward the heir posture look like?

Father, I am Your heir — a child who belongs and inherits. Help me stop working for what You've already given me. Amen.
