Jesus stood in His hometown synagogue and declared that the waiting was over. The year of favor had arrived. In Him, release from captivity, sight to the blind, freedom for the oppressed — all of it had come. He is still proclaiming it over you today.

What captivity, blindness, or oppression in your life needs to hear the proclamation of the Lord's favor?

Prayer

Jesus, proclaim Your favor over my life today. Where I am captive, set me free. Where I am blind, open my eyes. Amen.
