Fuel-stop devotionals.

Written to be read in the time it takes to fill two tanks. A new one every day, drawn from a year's worth of readings — scripture, a thought to chew on, and a prayer.

Walking in the Light1 John 1:7
No. 241
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.1 John 1:7

Walking in the light means living honestly before God and others — no hidden compartments, no double life, no gap between Sunday and Monday. And the result is fellowship and ongoing cleansing. Light doesn't expose to shame; it enables relationship.

Reflect

Is there any area of your life you're keeping in darkness — from God, from others? What would it take to bring it into the light?

Prayer

Lord, I choose to walk in the light. No hidden places. What I bring into the open, You cleanse. I trust the light more than I fear the exposure. Amen.
