Paul didn't say godliness is great gain. He said godliness with contentment is great gain. The pairing matters. You can be religious and miserable — striving, comparing, never satisfied. True godliness produces contentment. If you have God, you have the greatest wealth.

Are you godly and content, or godly and striving? What would it mean to fully receive what you already have in Christ?
Prayer
Lord, the combination of knowing You and being satisfied in You — that's the wealth I want. Help me live there. Amen.
