Jesus knows what rejection feels like. He knows grief. He knows what it is to have people turn their backs on you. He wasn't sheltered from the human experience of pain — He walked directly into it. He is not a distant, unmoved God. He is familiar with what you're going through.

What suffering or rejection are you carrying that you can bring to the One who is familiar with pain?

Jesus, You understand my pain from the inside. Not from a distance. Thank You for being familiar with what I'm going through. Amen.
