After a battle won only by prayer — Moses's arms lifted, Israel prevailed — Moses names God as the banner. In battle, a banner was the rallying point, the identity marker, the flag troops ran toward. God is your banner — your identity, your cause, your victory.

What is the banner you're currently rallying around — achievement, approval, a relationship? Is it God?

Lord, You are my banner. My identity is in You. My victory comes from You. I rally to Your name. Amen.
