The LORD said, "I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering."Exodus 3:7

Four hundred years. Israel had been in bondage for four centuries — and God says: I have heard. I have seen. I am concerned. Silence from heaven isn't indifference. He was preparing a deliverer the whole time. He hears your cry too.

Reflect

Have you felt like your cries to God have gone unheard? Bring them again — He sees, He hears, He is concerned.

Prayer

Lord, I believe You hear me. Even when the answer hasn't come, You are concerned about my suffering. I trust You. Amen.
