The Prodigal's FatherLuke 15:20
No. 104
While he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son.Luke 15:20

The father in this story doesn't wait for his son to reach the door. He sees him from a distance and runs. This is who God is — not waiting for you to clean yourself up before He welcomes you. He runs toward repentance.

Reflect

Have you been keeping your distance from God, thinking you need to get better first? What would it look like to just start walking toward Him today?

Prayer

Father, I'm coming home. I don't have it all together. But I'm walking toward You. Please run to meet me. Amen.
